LGBTQ Histories and the British Museum

The National Justice Museum in Nottingham is working on an exciting new project with the British Museum, and we want you to join in!
It has been 50 years since the decriminalization of homosexuality in England, and the British Museum has installed an LGBTQ exhibition trail to help us remember our history, from ancient Greece to today. This exhibition is currently touring, and is at the National Justice Museum in Nottingham.
We’re incredibly excited to be working with the NJM to get the stories of Nottinghamshire’s LGBTQ community, and to add those stories to an already rich heritage of LGBTQ legacy.
Join us for a series of writing workshops beginning on January 23rd at 6:30pm. Come share your story, get it down on paper, and eventually get it printed in an anthology of stories that will be part of a wonderful, diverse legacy.
