Global Words Press is seeking stories for the upcoming anthology [Working title: Women’s Words, Women’s Lives].
We’re looking for both fiction and non-fiction short stories with powerful representations of women. We’re seeking personal tales that skew positive in these categories: overcoming hardship, escaping abuse, the importance of friendship, celebrating accomplishments, the power of words, and basically anything else that shows how amazing, resilient, and capable women can be.
Payment: Not a paying market, but each contributor receives an author copy of the anthology.
Deadline: November 30, 2016.
Word count: Send a single story of up to 2,000 words, fiction or non-fiction.
Our deadline is November 30th, 2016, and we aim to have a quick response time, so hit us with your best shot. We’ll also be having an official book launch on Saturday 7th January 2017 at Waterstones, in Nottingham, England, for those authors who are able to attend. More information on that will follow.
